Charles Tunnicliffe

   Charles Tunnicliffe nació en 1901 en Langley, Cheshire, Reino Unido, pero se mudó a Anglesey en 1947 hasta su muerte en 1979. Grabador y pintor, su temática principal era la vida de las aves y la naturaleza. Tunnicliffe fue uno de los artistas británicos más prolíficos e influyentes del siglo veinte y su obra fue utilizada para ilustrar innumerables artículos de revistas, libros y anuncios.

   Charles Tunnicliffe was born in 1901 in Langley, Cheshire, UK, but moved to Anglesey in 1947 until his death in 1979. Etcher, engraver and painter, his principal subject was bird life and the natural countryside. He was one of the most prolific and influential british artists of the 20th century and his work was used to illustrate many magazine articles, books and advertisements.
